Plugins für jQuery gibt es mittlerweile in Hülle und Fülle im Netz. In diesem Artikel möchte ich eine kleine Auswahl von 10 sehr schönen und brauchbaren Plugins vorgestellen. Vielleicht ist ja für den einen, oder anderen etwas sinnvolles dabei.
1. Quickflip 2
Quickflip flipt von der Frontseite zur Rückseite und umgekehrt. Es ist eine gute Alternative zu anderen langsamen und Ressourcen fressenden Flip-Animationen. Front- und Rückseite bestehen aus je einem Bild.
2. SexyLightBox
SexyLightBox is a clon, sexier and more lightweight than the classic LightBox. It was constructed while thinking about web designers toward an easy installation and use. The following examples will show you why it is considered to be “sexy”.
3. Spritely
jQuery SpritelyjQuery.spritely is a jQuery plugin created by Artlogic for creating dynamic character and background animation in pure HTML and JavaScript. It’s a simple, light-weight plugin with a few simple methods for creating animated sprites such as the birds you see on this page, and dynamic scrolling backgrounds.
You can use it on any html web page, and any part of the page can interact with a sprite (click anywhere on this page and wait and you’ll see what we mean).
4. Realistic Hover Effect
Sehr schöner Hover Effekt, welcher sich gut für eine elegante Navigation einsetzen lässt.
5. Image Cube
A jQuery plugin that sets a division to rotate between images (or other things) as if they were on the faces of a cube.
6. Font Effect
Font effect is a jQuery plugin that add some effect to html text.
The available effects are (for now) Outline, Shadow, Gradient and Mirror.
7. Space Gallery
It is a static gallery where images are hardcoded in the HTML and presented with a beautiful grow – fade out effect.
8. Cross Slide
CrossSlide is a jQuery plugin implementing in 2kB1 of Javascript code some common slide-show animations, traditionally only available via Adobe Flash™ or other proprietary plugins. CrossSlide builds upon jQuery’s animation facility, so it is as portable across browsers as jQuery itself (that is, a lot!)
9. Scrollable
Provides generic scrolling capability to your pages. Anytime you want to scroll your HTML elements in a visually appealing way you should use this tool. The difference between “normal” scrolling is that you don’t have browser’s default scrollbars available and you can perform scrolling in more sophisticated ways like on the above example. The main goals are visual customization and programmability.
10. Coda Bubble
This jQuery plugin allows you to add popup tooltips.
